Our Story

The Old Dairy sits above Fawley Farm Feeds, nestled in a working farm here at Fawley Farm.

The tea room takes its name from its history: this building was once the old dairy, where the farm's cows were milked, before being converted into the café and feed store you see today.

We love that it's kept its place in rural life — just in a different form, now bringing people together over food rather than the morning milking.

We're proud to serve homemade food, made with produce sourced locally where we can, and to give every person who walks through the door good, honest hospitality.

We're a small team, and above all we want this to be a place people want to be.

Community

Beyond the food, we see ourselves as part of village life. Our events — from foodie nights to quiz nights to charity walks — are as much about bringing the local community together as they are about a nice cup of tea.

In a rural spot like ours, that matters: a reason to get out, see familiar faces, and support the people and causes around us.

We're a working farm café too, so we welcome everyone. Dog walkers, cyclists, motorbike riders, walkers and horse riders all pull in here — whether you're stopping for a flat white between yard duties or settling in for a slow Sunday. Come as you are.
